Could Tom Brady really love the New England Patriots for the Miami Dolphins?

The possibility is becoming more and more real, as Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Dolphins continued to be mentioned as a potential landing spot for Brady.

Florio notes that Brian Flores, who served as an assistant in New England for quite some time, is Miami's head coach and that the Dolphins are certainly in need for help at quarterback (although they could always draft a quarterback with the fifth overall pick in a few months).

There is also the whole “I'm going to stick it to the Patriots” thing, as Miami obviously plays in the AFC East with New England, so Brady would get to see his former club twice a year.

Of course, these are still just rumors, and they should probably be taken with a grain of salt.

Brady has remained very cryptic on his future and has not hinted in one direction or another, so as of right now, the most likely scenario is that the 42-year-old will probably return to the Pats.

The six-time Super Bowl champion is coming off of a 2019-20 campaign in which he threw for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 60.8 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 88. It marked the first time since 2008—when he played in just one game due to a torn ACL—that Brady missed the Pro Bowl.

The Patriots went on to lose to the Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card Round, representing their earliest playoff exit since the 2009-10 season.
