Former Pro Bowler and one-time Super Bowl champion Ryan Clark might have gone a bit overboard in his praise for New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Belichick had quite the coaching masterpiece during their Monday Night Football showdown with the Buffalo Bills, opting to heavily focus on the run game to win. The Patriots made just three pass attempts in the contest, with Mac Jones completing two for 19 yards. New England executed their game plan really well, allowing them to grind out a 14-10 win amid inclement weather conditions.
After watching such performance from the Patriots, it's quite clear Clark was amazed by the strategic display, so much so that the current ESPN analyst compared The Hooded One to God.

When Sean McDermott slammed the overpraising for the Patriots coach, he's probably talking about this one.
For what it's worth, Bill Belichick undoubtedly deserves a ton of credit for guiding the Patriots to the victory. It takes a lot of guts to implement a run-heavy strategy despite having one of the better passers in the NFL in rookie QB Mac Jones.
However, it is an exaggeration to compare Belichick to God–which will certainly not sit well with more than just a few people.
But hey, some would definitely understand the excitement he has. Clark probably enjoyed the game more than he expected, so much so that Belichick became a supreme being in his eyes.
