Over the past month, there have been an endless amount of rumors surrounding Tom Brady and his impending free agency with the New England Patriots. To clear the air, Charlie Weis revealed what Brady's text response was to all of the free agency rumors.

Weis, who was Brady's offensive coordinator with the Patriots from 2000-2004, keeps in close contact with his former quarterback. While making an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Weis discussed what Brady thinks about the rumors involving his much-anticipated decision:

“I do have one bit of scoop for us. I've been texting with Tommy. I don't [usually] pass along these conversations, but one thing he told me — ‘Nobody knows anything. So anyone who is telling you they know, they don't know.' I'm not going through any other part of the conversation [but] I followed up and he said, ‘Clean it up.' So I'm cleaning it up.”

As it typically goes with big-name free agents, no one really knows what is going on behind closed doors. The only person that has an idea of where Brady might play in 2020, is Brady himself. Of course, Brady isn't going to come out and announce that he's signing with the Patriots or someone else until he feels the need to.

So until he's prepared to make a decision, the media and fans alike have begun creating rumors and narratives of where he might land. While some of the rumors make sense, some of them are questionable, to say the least.

The legal tampering period of free agency begins on March 16 and free agency officially gets underway on March 18. Therefore, we should have a better grasp of his looming decision in the coming weeks, whether that's him returning to the Patriots or choosing to play elsewhere.
