Last week, the New England Patriots picked up a pivotal road win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Sounds good, right?
Well, not in the eyes of Tom Brady, as the Patriots scored just 17 points, resulting in the quarterback expressing some frustration with the club's struggling offense after the game.
Former New England tight end Rob Gronkowski appeared on FOX's NFL pregame show on Sunday and took a different approach, saying that the Pats “should be happy” with just winning games.
The Patriots won yet again in Week 12, defeating the Dallas Cowboys, but once again, New England's offense labored, managing a mere 13 points in a four-point victory.
On Monday morning, Brady disagreed with Gronkowski's assessment, saying that everyone processes things differently:

When you have great attitudes like that, it is good to have. He was a great player for us for a long time. We have different challenges that we face and for me personally, I don’t have one emotion after every game. There’s probably five or 10. The moment you catch me is how I will feel at a particular time and sometimes it takes time to digest things and deal with things. Hopefully we can process those by the time the preparation for the next week starts.”
Essentially, Brady is saying that he is never satisfied, and based on the way the Patriots' offense has played for much of this season, it's hard to blame him.
Of course, New England's offense almost surely wouldn't be scuffling this much if a certain 6-foot-6 tight end was still on the field.
Struggles or not, the Pats are an AFC-best 10-1.
