New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has long claimed that he wants to play until he is at least 45 years old. He was asked about that on Tuesday morning, but this time he dodged the question, not offering a very clear answer. He told WEEI that he would like to play next year and probably beyond, but he wouldn't say he still wants to be with the Patriots until he's 45.

“You know, I think you always have short-term goals and long-term goals and this year’s the one I’m focused on and obviously I want to play for a long time so I’ve said that for a while,” Brady said. “Feel like I’m a broken record. You know, it’s really this year is the focus and this team. This team needs a great quarterback and you know, hopefully I can go out and be that.”

The big question now is if this means Brady doesn't want to play as long as he once thought, or if he's just sick of the questions about his future and wants to focus on this year's team.

Tom Brady has been loyal to the Patriots and they have been to him as well, but Bill Belichick has a reputation of getting rid of veterans a year early rather than a year late. Of course, Brady isn't your average veteran. So this question might come down to a few things; how long Brady wants to play, and if the Patriots will hold onto him for that long rather than finding a long-term answer under center.
