During the latter half of the 2017 season, New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady was mixed up in much behind-the-scenes drama with the team involving his personal trainer Alex Guerrero.

In light of all that shaking out, Brady has voiced that he is learning to how to better manage those situations better moving forward to avoid any possible distractions ahead by keeping it away from being a distraction for him in any manner. (h/t Mike Reiss of ESPN)

“I think people are just looking for something to write and talk about. They want to talk about a lot of drama,” Brady said in the epilogue. “I'm sure a lot of teams have things like that, but ours is just to the 10th degree. I'm learning to deal with it better. I don't still give a [expletive] that much any more about anything.

“I think a lot of keeping things in perspective, like nothing is that big a deal to me anymore. Maybe I'm just caring about certain things that really matter, like my family, like people's health, like life and death. To worry about a lot of bulls-that people may say or think or feel, like, I really don't care anymore.”

This will likely entail Brady continuing to avoid truly discussing this matter to a great degree in any manner moving forward. It was quite evident in his recent radio interview that he abruptly ended after being questioned multiple times about Guerrero's recent increased access to the team.

What could also silence this from being a topic of discussion as long as he is able to continue to play at an elite level at this point of his career. He was able to do so this past year as he was able to filter out the noise to push his team to a third Super Bowl appearance in the last four years.

Brady now has a better understanding of the noise that is around him and how to manage dealing with it given that increased scrutiny at the tail end of last season.
