New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said on the Greg Hill Show that the team wasn't distracted by the video scandal heading into the Cincinnati Bengals game. Brady said there was a lot of talk outside the team about the videotaping incident, but inside the building, there weren't any thoughts about it.
“I don’t think any player gave it one second of thought,” he said. “… You just move on, man. There’s a lot of distractions out there and if you lose focus on your job, that is really a waste of your time. There’s a lot of people out there — they can create distractions for us, but we just want to go out there and focus on what we can do and what our job is and try and go out there and play the best we possibly can.”
The Patriots struggled in the first half against the Bengals, but they had more than enough success in the second half winning 34-13. With the win, they managed to keep control of their destiny in the AFC East heading into a matchup with the Buffalo Bills in Week 16.

The team has already admitted that they were in the wrong and claimed the video was part of a feature on their series “Do Your Job” about an advanced scout.
There is no doubt the team is going to get some sort of punishment because they broke NFL rules. However, the big question is, will it be just a fine or will suspensions and draft picks be involved?
