Tom Brady has enjoyed quite the NFL career, but the big question now surrounds the rest of it. Just how many more years remain?

Tom Brady clued us in a bit as he opened up in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, claiming the end is coming a lot “sooner rather than later,” via Kevin Guregian of the Boston Herald.

“I think about it more now than I used to,” Brady said. “I think I’m seeing there’s definitely an end coming sooner, rather than later.”

Brady wouldn't give away any hints on when his playing career would end, but he is still enjoying the preparation and the commitment so he is sticking around. Once he isn't enjoying that anymore, he is going to know that it is time to hang it up.

“As long as I’m still loving it,” Brady said. “As long as I’m loving the training and the preparation and willing to make the commitment. But it’s also, I think what I alluded to a lot in the [Tom vs. Time] docu-series, there’s other things happening in my life, too. I do have kids that I love, and I don’t want to be a dad that’s not there, driving my kids to their games … my kids have brought a great perspective in my life. Kids just want the attention. You better be there. And be available to them.”

A lot of when Brady will decide to hang it up also probably depends on how well the Patriots are playing. If he doesn't think they can win a title with the team they have, it's going to be time for Brady to call it quits. Mainly, as long as he's still enjoying the game, he intends on playing.

Brady has a family at home and he knows there is a life after football, so at some point, it's going to be time for Brady to move on, and that is going to be a very sad day for football.
