New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady doesn't often run with the football, so when he does, strange things can happen.
Like his knee brace getting busted.
Brady took off for a six-yard scramble during the second quarter of his team's win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, and at the end of the play, Brady ruined his knee brace.
“All the sod gets stuck inside the brace, so it's just jammed. It's like turf, just stuck,” said Brady, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. “I was trying to push it out, but it's like super-glued in there.”
Redskins cornerback Josh Norman even helped Brady in picking the turf out of his brace:

I should slide on my right side, but on the turf it usually doesn't do that. On the grass, sometimes it sticks. I need to get a new brace.”
Brady added that he'll get a “new one for next week” when the Patriots host the New York Giants.
The 42-year-old completed 28 of his 42 passes for 348 yards, three touchdowns and an interception during the victory, as New England improved to 5-0 on the year.
For the season overall, Brady has thrown for 1,409 yards, 10 touchdowns and a couple of picks while completing 63.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 99.4.
The future Hall-of-Famer is in his 20th NFL season and is aiming for his seventh Super Bowl title.
