New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan caught wind of an incident where an eight-year old boy was bullied at his school for wearing a Patriots jersey prior to New England's AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week.
The boy, named Rory, was persecuted so much by his classmates that he actually decided to remove his jersey during the day.
However, following the Patriots victory, Rory wore his jersey again to school with complete disregard for his detractors.
Hogan then delivered an inspirational message to the kid, thanking him for his support, via Sage Kelly of 12Up Sports.
Awesome gesture by Hogan, who caught five passes for 45 yards in what ended up being a thrilling 37-31 win that sent New England to the Super Bowl.
On the season, Hogan hauled in 35 receptions for 532 yards and three touchdowns.

Hogan proceeded to bounce around between the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins before landing with the Buffalo Bills, and in 2013, Hogan saw his first NFL action, catching 10 passes.
He spent four years with the Bills before finally arriving with the Patriots in 2016, where he had a breakout year of sorts by snaring 38 balls for 680 yards and four scores.
New England will take on the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl next Sunday, representing the Patriots' ninth Super Bowl appearance since Tom Brady became quarterback during the 2001-02 campaign.
