As the New Orleans Saints get ready to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8, eyes all across America are going to see what this new era of Tom Brady games versus a New Orleans Saints team sans Drew Brees looks like. Though Tampa Bay is a far better team on paper, this is a matchup too good to not hope for an amazing game. For that reason, we've got some bold predictions for the Saints-Buccaneers afternoon matchup.

New Orleans is coming off of an ugly 13-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks, who were without Russell Wilson. A win's a win, though, and it improved them to 4-2 on the season, good enough for second in the NFC South and 1.5 games behind the Bucs.

Jameis Winston struggled throughout, missing passes everywhere from deep shots to receivers open in the flat. However, there was a very promising development, as Winston showed great rapport with Alvin Kamara, hitting him 10 times for 128 yards and a score.

Will Winston be able to bounce back and combine with a solid New Orleans defense for an upset against Jaboo's former team? Here are 4 bold predictions for the Saints and Buccaneers' game this Sunday.

New Orleans Saints Week 8 Predictions

4. Jameis Winston pops off for huge, 4-TD revenge game

This will be the first time Winston plays against Tampa Bay, who he played his first 5 seasons in the league with. He showed off why they picked him #1 overall as he racked up huge counting stats over the years, but struggled with turnovers. In New Orleans, he's been great with a 13/3 TD/INT ratio thus far. The Bucs secondary is their weakest unit, and Winston will be out for blood this week – it's a recipe for one of his patented huge games. Week 8 will be his third game this season with 4+ TDs.

3. Cameron Jordan wreaks havoc on Tom Brady with 2 strip sacks

While Brady is the ageless wonder among all ageless wonders, Cameron Jordan has shown the potential to be that kind of player as he continues to produce in his second decade in the league. He's had a slow start to 2021, but is only two seasons removed from a 15.5 sack season. That's bad news for Tampa, as Jordan got a sack last week and looks to be heating up for the second half of the campaign. He'll get home at least a couple of times this week.

2. Deonte Harris turns the tide with late return TD

In order for New Orleans to pull this one out, they'll need to make some splash plays on defense and special teams. Enter Deonte Harris. The speedster wide receiver has shown a penchant for making huge returns in pivotal games, and he'll do just that when New Orleans needs it most this Sunday.

1. Saints pull off upset in crazy shootout

The Buccaneers bounced the Saints last year in the playoffs, and New Orleans is no doubt looking for revenge now this season. With an explosive QB like Winston at the helm and a talented defense once again, they have the infrastructure to upset Tampa, and will do just that on Sunday.

PREDICTION: Saints 34, Buccaneers 28
