Antonio Brown finally got his shot to prove that he is still, in fact, an all-world talent wide receiver. On Friday, the New Orleans Saints hosted the polarizing 31-year-old for a workout but ultimately did not sign him.

According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Brown did not do himself any favors in the workout. The Saints told him not to bring his entourage. He brought his entourage.

Brown's negligence to the Saints' orders isn't helping him. The Saints could work with Brown bringing his entourage. They need a No. 2 wideout to flank Michael Thomas. In terms of skillset, Brown is the answer. The NFL is currently investigating Brown under its personal conduct policy due to a sexual assault claim filed by his former trainer, Britney Taylor. She alleged that Brown, in multiple instances, sexually assaulted her. Shortly after, he was accused of sexual assault by an artist who worked for him in-house in 2017.

The NFL did not place Brown on their commissioner’s exempt list after his release by the Patriots earlier this season. However, the belief is that they will do so if signed by a club. The Saints would need clarity on the matter if they were to sign him, as there is a real possibility that he would not be eligible to play if he put pen to paper.
