Following a discouraging loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the New Orleans Saints are looking to bounce back in Week 14 on the road against the Tampa Buccaneers.

However, there are some questions regarding the health of Pro Bowl wide receiver Michael Thomas, who is dealing with an ankle injury. According to Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network, Thomas has returned to practice on Thursday without any limitations.

This should erase any doubt concerning his status for this week's action as he has been able to practice fully — this an injury that arose this week as he had been off the practice field on Wednesday due to the injury that drew some scrutiny around the situation being possibly more serious than originally believed.

Thomas has been the primary factor in the passing game as Drew Brees' primary target that has helped him put together a career-best campaign as he's third in the league with 91 receptions, fourth in 1,120 receiving yards, eighth with eight receiving touchdowns, and fourth with 93.3 receiving yards per contest. Thomas has posted three games with more than 100 receiving yards including a season-high 211 receiving yards on 12 receptions and a touchdown along with at least four receptions in each of the first 12 games played this year.

He is currently one of two players in the league alongside Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Adam Theilen with at least 90 receptions and eight receiving touchdowns. Thomas also has a current 86.7 percent catch rate this season, which would be the highest by a player in a 1,000-yard season dating back to 1992.

There should be some finality on his status for Sunday's game as he should likely be given the green light to play if he's able to put in another practice on Friday. In the meantime, this is an encouraging sign concerning his health moving forward.
