The New York Jets remain winless with only three games remaining for them to turn their luck around. That luck wasn't set to change on Sunday as they faced off against the Los Angeles Rams.

The entirety of their losing storyline may change however. Early in the second quarter, the Jets were able to take a 13-0 lead against the Rams after a pick by rookie Bryce Hall from a Jared Goff-throw.

Sam Darnold remains credited for the other portion of the Jets' success so far against the Rams. He has completed 73.3 percent of his passes in the first half, leading to one touchdown.

To the Jets' credit, they've played exceptionally well in some of their recent outings that could've ended in their favor. One of the more recent collapses by the club was to the Las Vegas Raiders, which led to the firing of then-defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. In another instance, they were all but ready to walk away with a victory against the New England Patriots in Week 9 before a last-minute field goal saw those efforts wasted.

While the Jets are far removed from any playoff consideration, it'll probably do the club some good to end the season with at least one win. Their silver lining at the moment remains holding onto the hopes of the No.1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft–heavily assumed to transform into Clemson's Trevor Lawrence.
