CJ Mosley is ready to come back with a vengeance. After an injury riddled year for the New York Jets, the linebacker has reportedly regained and maintained peak physical form with an eye towards next season.
Jets beat writer for NY Daily News Manish Mehta shared the words coming out of Gregg William's mouth:
Gregg Williams on C.J. Mosley: "He may be the best I've ever been with in my life at NFL level (in that) he stayed active, energized & led this football team behind the scenes. He prepared like he was getting ready to play that week. CJ showed tremendous leadership in doing that"

While it would have been surprising to hear anything but praise coming from Williams, NYJ's defensive coordinator, it's still an encouraging sign for all Jets fans looking to move on from a subpar season.
C.J. Mosley played in just two games last season for the Jets due to his lingering groin injury. He tried to hold out and recover quickly enough to play again, but to no avail. The 27-year-old Pro Bowler had to undergo season-ending groin surgery in December of last year.
He sustained the said injury in New York's season opener, and had trouble with it ever since. Mosley made one more appearance on the field after that, playing for the Jets in their Week 7 match up against the New England Patriots.
Article Continues BelowThere were indications a couple months ago that he was indeed trending in the right direction for the Jets. This is what he shared to ESPN's Rich Cimini:
“I wouldn’t say it’s 100 percent,” Mosley said, regarding his groin. “I haven’t made those (cutting) movements, but I feel good. Mentally and physically, I feel great. It’s just a matter of getting on the field and doing it.”
The Jets are definitely holding out hope that C.J. Mosley returns to form next season.
You just know the Jets will need all the help they can get.
