Avery Williamson is one of the defensive leaders on the New York Jets and he raised some eyebrows on Friday. With COVID-19 being a popular topic of discussion, Williamson sent a tweet pertaining to the coronavirus, which would cause fans to express their concern.

Given the fact Williamson implied someone created COVID-19, many fans shared their opinions on the matter. Most fans questioned the legitimacy of Williamson's tweet, calling out the veteran linebacker's social media post.

For those that don't know, the Jets were discovered to have a “presumptive positive” test for COVID-19 on Friday. Regardless of whether the test is found out to be legitimately positive or not, New York sent everyone home and refrained from holding a practice session.

The Jets become the latest team to deal with issues when it comes to the coronavirus in 2020. Besides New York, the Tennessee Titans, the New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Las Vegas Raiders have all experienced positive tests in recent weeks.

Just by themselves, the Titans have accumulated 23 total positive COVID-19 tests between players and staff members. As a result, Tennessee hasn't been able to practice since before their game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3.

Ever since COVID-19 became a known problem in the United States since March, it has affected everyone across the world in a myriad of ways. When it comes to the NFL, it was known that positive tests could be a reality this season.

While the coronavirus ravages a few teams in the league, Williamson is seemingly upset about it causing disruptions during the season.
