The New York Jets haven't won a Super Bowl since 1968, but now that Le'Veon Bell is on the team their odds have drastically improved for the 2019 NFL season, according to BetOnline.ag.

Now that Bell, C.J. Mosley, and Jamison Crowder have all been signed to the team, the odds of them winning the Super Bowl have gone from 100-1 to 66-1. Granted, those aren't the best of odds, but they're certainly better than nothing. And besides, it would be nice to see the Jets win something, considering they haven't since Johnson was president.

The New York Post seems to think that the Le'Veon Bell signing is a good one, too, and they feel that adding him to the lineup will also “help make up for past mistakes,” with those mistakes presumably including failing to even come within spitting distance of a Super Bowl trophy.

At $13 million per year on average, says the outlet, the Jets are more than getting their money's worth with Bell. What's more, they think Bell is a good complement to quarterback Sam Darnold and can help build him to where he needs to be for the team.

From the New York Post:

“Free agency is always a gamble. These players are free agents for a reason. It is disconcerting that the Jets seem to be the only team that offered Le'Veon Bell a serious contract. Even though there is risk to this deal, it is a risk the Jets had to take at this time for several reasons. They need to give Sam Darnold some players around him. They can throw some money around while Darnold is on his rookie contract. Mike Maccagnan needed to do something.”
