Jets WR Lucky Whitehead is out 4-6 weekks with a broken foot, source said.

The 25-year-old had joined the Jets back in late July after he was waived by the Dallas Cowboys. He was mistakenly identified by law enforcement as the suspect in the theft at a convenience store, but Dallas still decided to cut him. Prior to that, his dog had been kidnapped and was returned with the help of social media.

The injury could put Whitehead out of a job once again, as he had an opportunity to be pegged as the primary kick return for the Jets due to Jalin Marshall being suspended for the first four games of the season.
