The New York Jets have lofty aspirations entering the 2022 NFL season. They have already made a number of significant additions to the roster and quarterback Zach Wilson is primed for a breakout season. New York's staple of mediocrity could finally come to an end this year.
However, former NFL QB Brady Quinn believes otherwise.
“Their season is going to be over before they get to the bye,” Quinn stated on CBS Sports. “Their bye comes November 13th. They have got to play basically the entire AFC North to start the season. They might go 0-4.”
Quinn continued by declaring that he would not be surprised if the Jets ended up starting out the season with a 1-8 or 0-9 record. He later added that he is “not a believer in Zach Wilson” and that he has New York going back to the “drawing board at the quarterback position in the 2023 Draft.”
Yikes. That is not what Jets fans want to hear.

And I'd say things turned out just fine with Joe Burrow emerging as a star and leading Cincinnati to the Super Bowl.
Will Zach Wilson lead the Jets to the Super Bowl this season? That is obviously a wild claim. But anything is possible.
However, Brady Quinn has developed a reputation as a quality football analyst. The former Notre Dame standout understands the game at an elite level. It will be interesting to see if his Jets prediction holds true during the 2022 NFL campaign.
