With Le'Veon Bell being a free agent this offseason there has been a lot of steam that he may try to hook up with the New York Jets.
The Jets do have a lot of interest in one of the best running backs in the league but according to Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News, the team has done some reservations about how he will produce after getting the big contract that he has been hoping for:
The Jets believe that Bell is a quality player, but there are reservations inside the building about his motivation after he lands a big pay day. Last season Bell decided to not sign the franchise tag that was offered and instead sat out the entire season and wait for free agency.

There is no question the Jets need a really good running back to line up behind Sam Darnold and it will be interesting to see how it works out.
Will the team decide to look past that and give Bell the big contract, or decide to go in a different direction signing a lower-priced running back?
