Le'Veon Bell is getting a fresh start in 2019, as he signed a four-year deal with the New York Jets earlier this offseason to end what was a tumultuous six-year tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bell is very excited to begin his Jets career, saying that he imagines the scheme being “amazing” for him in New York, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. He added that his relationship with Jets head coach Adam Gase is “great.”
The 27-year-old has been in attendance at mandatory minicamp, but he did not participate in the previous voluntary offseason workouts and will also not be in attendance at the next set of voluntary organized team activities as he works out on his own.
Bell will, however, be ready for training camp in July.
