The New York Jets Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints is not one of the more looked-forward-to games from this upcoming slate…unless you're a BYU Cougars fan. With both starting quarterbacks from this game (Zach Wilson for the Jets and Taysom Hill for the Saints) hailing from the newest members of the Big-12 Conference, it is definitely an exciting one for both of them and their fans.
What makes BYU different from most schools is that it is a private religious-based university. Most of the members of the football team belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and that is true about both Wilson and Hill, making this week's Jets-Saints matchup a “Mormon Mission” for both teams.

Jets Week 14 Predictions
4. Zach Wilson will be turnover free
Wilson has turned the ball over in every game that he has played so far in his rookie season, but this will finally be the game that he breaks free. He has mainly been hurt by interceptions (11,) but in his two games since returning from injury against the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans, he has played much better. Especially the last game against the Eagles where Wilson had his second-highest adjusted QBR of the year and accounted for three scores (two in the air and one on the ground.)
3. The Jets will run for fewer than 50 yards
Article Continues BelowWith Michael Carter and now Tevin Coleman out due to injuries, the Jets are down to just Ty Johnson and Austin Walter on the roster as healthy running backs. Neither of those two are intimidating on the ground, and the Saints are the fifth-best rush defense in the NFL in terms of rushing yards per game given up (96.4.) That is a terrible recipe for the Jets and one that will have them throwing for most of the game.
2. The Jets will get two sacks
While Hill has been a more mobile player than Trevor Siemien, he has also been sacked a lot in his career. That included two times against a Dallas Cowboys pass-rush that was struggling with injuries and inefficiency coming into the Thanksgiving Night matchup. The Jets will need to take advantage of the vulnerabilities in Hill's game and if they can, they will keep this game close. Even with the two sacks, though, the Jets may need more if they want to stay within the five-and-a-half-point spread. Speaking of which…
1. The Saints will cover the spread
New Orleans is simply a better football team than New York and they are also sick of losing. Sean Payton knows that his team probably needs to win out in order to make the playoffs and that starts this week. Especially with the rumors of Payton possibly being interested in the New York Giants should they fire head coach Joe Judge, expect the super-competitive Payton to want to win this game very badly. Take New Orleans minus the points and run to the ticket booth.
