Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rolled to a 45-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday to improve their record to 4-1. However, Brady was seen icing his hand during the game, is dealing with a thumb injury.
With just a few days rest before Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, TB12 won't have a lot of time to recover. The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport gave an update on the Buccaneers QB's status:
#Bucs QB Tom Brady, who was spotted with his hand in ice during the game, is dealing with a thumb injury that should be good for Thursday night vs. the #Eagles, source said.

Obviously great news for Tampa but without Brady leading the way, it's hard to imagine them having success considering their backups barely see a lick of playing time. Brady was electric in Week 5, completing 30 of 41 passing attempts for 411 yards. He also threw for five touchdowns, linking up with Antonio Brown and Mike Evans twice each.
The Buccaneers signal-caller took to social media on Monday morning in good spirits ahead of Thursday:

That's certainly not the energy of an injured man. We don't exactly know the severity of the thumb injury, but it must not be that serious. He did come to the pre-game press conference with his hand iced up but didn't sound too worried:
“It's just kind of a football injury, so I'll do my best to get ready for this game — we'll see what happens.”
The Buccaneers will be searching for their fifth win of the season against Philly.
