Dak Prescott's future with the Dallas Cowboys is still up in the air. His underwhelming end to the season that saw the Cowboys miss out on playoff football is one of the biggest questions looming above talks of his contract extension. However, the 26-year-old pass-caller believes that he's done enough to convince Jerry Jones to throw big money his way.

Prescott talked about the offseason and his impending free agency. He's confident that it'll get sorted out sooner rather than later as he's done enough to convince the front office to keep him. Moreover, he doesn't want to wear any other jersey other than a Cowboys one.

“I've got confidence something will get done,” Prescott told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. “We'll just leave it there. Obviously being the Cowboys quarterback is second to none. There are very few positions in all of sports that are comparable to it. So when you put that in perspective, my mindset is to be in Dallas. And I've got the confidence in my team to get something done and the confidence in the Cowboys that we'll be able to.”

While the 2019 season was an utter disappointment for the Cowboys, Dak Prescott had his best year statistically yet. He finished the campaign with 4902 passing yards and 30 touchdowns, both being career highs. He's also been productive on the running game with 277 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. If his Cowboys managed to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16, they would have made the NFC Wild Card.

However, there's no point in looking in the past now. Cowboys fans are hoping that the situation is resolved as soon as possible.
