Veteran running back DeMarco Murray is still in the free-agent market and in search for a new team. He had the chance to work out with the New Orleans Saints last month, but he decided to pass it up. However, he is apparently not short of options and is looking to sort out his future fairly soon.
In an appearance on ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter’s podcast, Murray says he hopes to sign before the start of training camp and that he’s already had talks with a handful of teams interested in his services.

Obviously I would work and do everything to give me the opportunity to do that, but it’s all about having an opportunity to get to the playoffs and have an opportunity to win a championship.”
Prior to the Saints’ workout offer, Murray also visited with the Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, and Detroit Lions earlier this offseason.
The 30-year-old is coming off a career-low 659 rushing yards with six touchdowns for the Tennessee Titans last season. However, he was not quite at 100 percent as he was suffering from hamstring and ankle injuries which slowed him down.
But it appears as if Murray is back to full strength after getting the time to heal up and that it’s just a matter of time before he makes his choice of which team to join next.
