NFL free agent Jadeveon Clowney will soon sign a contract with a team this offseason, but he'll be doing so without his agent. As he contemplates where to sign for the 2020 season, Clowney has fired Bus Cook, again.

Going back to around this time last year, Clowney was disgruntled with his situation with the Houston Texans. He was given the franchise tag by the Texans and was upset about not receiving a long-term deal.

As a result, he would fire Cook and hire him back just a few days later. Then, not long after Cook was rehired, Clowney was dealt to the Seattle Seahawks in a blockbuster trade.

Fast forward to now and Clowney's free agency experience hasn't gone as planned this offseason. Back in March, Clowney was expecting to become one of the highest-paid defensive players in the NFL. However, a core-muscle injury that led to a lack of production in 2019 hindered his chances to garner a lucrative deal.

Seeing that no team was willing to appease to his asking price, the Pro Bowl edge rusher will likely sign a one-year deal in hopes to test free agency again in 2021. At this moment, it appears the sweepstakes for Clowney will come down to the New Orleans Saints or Tennessee Titans.

After firing his agent yet again, Clowney could choose to negotiate his upcoming contract on his own. Or the former No. 1 pick could hire a new agent in the coming days to finalize a deal. Either way, Clowney is headed toward finding a new place to call home in 2020 soon, whether it be with a new agent or not.
