There's no secret at this point that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown wants out of Pittsburgh and his antics in recent weeks further prove that notion.
While Brown may hope to land with the San Francisco 49ers, he has no say at all in the matter. The other knock against Brown is all of his off-the-field issues, including a supposed domestic violence case as well as failing to appear in court for a traffic violation.
There are clearly big issues surrounding Brown ahead of the 2019 season, but there is a lot of speculation surrounding where exactly he will play next season.
So far the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and Miami Dolphins have emerged as early favorites to trade for Brown, according to BetOnline. Of course, with a lot of doubt the Steelers will find a suitor for AB by next season, they are also one of the favorites for him to at least begin the season with them.
Article Continues BelowThe Steelers likely want a first-round pick for Brown and it's going to take a lot of convincing at this point for a team to be willing to give Pittsburgh that offer. His skill-set is obvious, but all of the off field antics and legal issues he faces that could steer teams away right now.
It would be wise for the Steelers to wait it out and let Brown sell himself to teams who may be interested in him. The biggest question mark going forward is exactly what the Steelers will get for Brown rather than if they will trade their once prized player.
