When a player of Antonio Brown's magnitude gets traded, everyone in the NFL takes notice. Brown received a new deal with the Oakland Raiders that is leaving NFL teams “distraught.”

The former Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiver received a four-year, $68 million extension in 2017 from the Steelers. He was going to be a $21 million cap hit in 2019 and would receive $0 in guarantees.

After being traded to the Raiders, Brown re-worked the deal to the tune of $50 million over three years and $30 million guaranteed.

The All-Pro wideout essentially made it be known that he wanted a new deal wherever he landed, then he got it. Calling him Mr. Big Chest seems really fitting right now.

As a result of this new deal, NFL teams are going to have a hard time negotiating contracts with their wide receivers. The likes of Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, and Amari Cooper are due for big paydays soon.

Their contracts are going to look a lot better after Brown's new contract with the Raiders. This spells bad news for any teams that thought they could afford to re-sign their coveted receivers to cheaper deals.

At least none of those teams include the Steelers, who are going to have to eat $21 million that was due to Brown this year. That's a ton to pay for someone that isn't even on your team anymore.

Either way, both the Raiders and Steelers are going to look a lot different in 2019. The same could be said for wide receiver contracts moving forward after Antonio Brown shifted the market.
