San Antonio Spurs fans have January 3, 2019 circled on their calendars, which is the day Kawhi Leonard will make his return to his old stomping grounds, albeit as part of the Toronto Raptors. But if these fans want to boo and heckle the forward live on that day, they will first have to feel a pinch in their pockets.
According to Ticketmaster, the current prices of tickets range from as cheap as $69 to as expensive as $2,000 as of this writing.
The Spurs and Leonard had an acrimonious separation late last July after several months of a testy relationship, which was largely due to the swingman’s mysterious quad injury. San Antonio reportedly fielded some trade offers from other teams, but ultimately pulled off an exchange of players with the Raptors, who gave up DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a protected future draft pick for Leonard and Danny Green.

Kawhi Leonard arguably has the sharpest plunge in terms of popularity in the NBA in recent memory. It wasn’t that long ago when he was regarded as a silent, no-nonsense, do-it-all superstar, but those perceptions have been significantly altered by recent developments in his career.
Maybe, Leonard is all the Raptors need to snap their lengthy losing skid in San Antonio. Toronto has lost in each of its last nine trips there, dating back to 2007.
