The Washington Redskins are hoping they found their new franchise quarterback in Dwayne Haskins. He will be sporting the number seven jersey—as Joe Theismann once did with the Redskins.
Haskins has since said he is “thankful” that Theismann would allow him to wear the number seven jersey in burgundy and gold. No one has worn number seven since Theismann retired from the NFL in 1985.
The rookie quarterback and the Redskins legend spoke about Haskins possibly wearing the formers jersey. Haskins said how much the number seven means to him and his family.
