The NFL has released the 2020 schedule on Thursday, and it looks like the New Orleans Saints just got the short end of the stick. It's tough enough as it is to win on the road, but in the case of New Orleans, they are going to have to try and be victorious in three straight away games in one stretch.

For Week 11, New Orleans will pay a visit to the Mile High City as they face the AFC West's Denver Broncos. Next, the Saints will have to fly to the south of the country for a meeting against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons in what could be an important division encounter. To finish off the road trip, New Orleans will have to track up northeast to the City of Brotherly Love as they set to clash against last year's NFC East Division winners, the Philadelphia Eagles.

The New Orleans Saints will fly a total of 2,261 miles during the three-game road trip. They are going to need a bigger luggage.

While having three straight road games for one team could be a brutal stretch, it's not a rare occurrence in the NFL. Recently in the 2019 season, the Philadelphia Eagles had the unfortunate luck of playing three straight away matches. They traveled to Minnesota to play the Vikings in Week 6, then faced the Dallas Cowboys at Arlington in Week 7, and then finished the stretch with a trip to Buffalo to face the Bills in Week 8.

The Saints finished last season with a 13-3 record, winning 7 of their road games en route to an NFC South Division title.
