The NFL released the full 2020 schedule on Thursday evening, with the season set to kick off in a Week 1 clash between the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 10.

Week 1 offers an awesome slate of matchups to kick off the year.

The early window is highlighted by an NFC North clash between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings as well as an AFC North showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.

However, the afternoon games are must-watch TV.

Joe Burrow will make his NFL debut in primetime at home against the Los Angeles Chargers. Just 20 minutes later, NFL fans will be treated to one of the best games of the entire season when Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

Week 3 should be another one of note early in the year, as it is loaded with good matchups.

In the early window, the Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers do battle in Steel City, while the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills square off in Buffalo. The Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks square off in the afternoon, and the Bucs take on the upstart Denver Broncos.

But again, the primetime games are the ones worth salivating over. The Sunday night matchup features the Green Bay Packers at the Saints. Monday Night Football should be a high-octane affair, as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs square off against reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

There are plenty of premium matchups later in the year, as well, but the early teases are enough to garner plenty of excitement as fans await a return to the gridiron.
