The New England Patriots and Tom Brady were favorites heading into their wild card matchup with the Tennessee Titans. They had the better overall record and the home-field advantage.

However, just because they were favorites, didn't mean they were locks to win.

The Titans surprised a lot of people by pulling off a 20-13 victory though. That game saw Tom Brady go 20-for-37 with just 209 yards and no touchdowns compared to one interception.

With the quarterback set to turn 43 next season, many are wondering if this is it. Especially considering he looked not exactly like the Brady of old at quite a few turns this year. Throwing on to the speculation pile, this loss ended a streak of eight straight AFC Championship Game appearances for the Patriots.

It looks like the dynasty might be coming to a close.

All that being said though, Brady was quick to shut down the rumors.

Okay, so he doesn't exactly say it definitely is not happening. However, he does make it known that it's pretty unlikely and that it isn't the direction he plans on going.

You do have to wonder what exactly some of this means though. Tom Brady is making it sound like it might not 100% be in his hands. Maybe he will retire if the Patriots don't bring him back? Maybe he wants to wait for news on something?

All of that is speculation though. For now, all we know is Tom Brady does not exactly plan on retiring just yet. So it looks like we could be getting at least one more year of one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
