Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce made a very important announcement on Instagram. There were some who wondered if Kelce would retire from the NFL. In his post, he said he needed some time to make the decision.

Kelce has now taken that time. After clearing his mind, he has decided to retire… from arm wrestling. The Eagles lineman claims he is retiring with a 2-0 record, which seems like the best way to go out.

“Until now I haven’t address my future because I have been mulling it over for some time this offseason. I wanted to allow my body and mind to fully recover from the rigors of an NFL season, and take time with my family to see what lies ahead. After thinking long and hard about this I have come to a decision. I have decided to RETIRE… from arm wrestling. I leave behind a 2-0 record, one win against this man, and the other being against @28cgiroux and want to go out on top. It was a good run, but my drunken arm wrestling days are behind me, and it’s better to move on to a more mature future.”

Kelce claims he is excited to be back with the Eagles for another season, hoping he will be able to play in front of some fans. Some media members have been reaching out, asking if he will be playing next season. He thought it was best that he make an announcement saying that he is coming back.
