The Philadelphia Eagles had a great Week 11 outing in their win against the Saints. Many players stepped up and made big plays, including Big Play Slay, Darius Slay, himself. After the team's first home win of the season, Slay's status was questionable. He suffered a head injury during the game and was put into concussion protocol.
However, Eagles fans will be happy to hear that Slay has nothing but positive reports regarding his health. NBC Sports John Clark tweeted on Tuesday that he spoke to Slay. “He tells me today he is feeling good and everything is OK,” Clark stated. He even included a photo of the Eagles cornerback and teammate Rodney McLeod handing out Thanksgiving meals in Philadelphia.

Slay gave Birds fans a show at Lincoln Financial Field for the majority of the 40-29 win. Late in the second quarter, he stole back the momentum with an interception at the Eagles' 49-yard-line. Slay ran the ball for 51 yards and a touchdown to boost the team's lead to 27-7 going into halftime.
This play gave the Eagles the energy boost they needed to lock in their first win at the Linc this season. Slay's huge role in this game and his performances throughout the season prove his worth on Jonathan Gannon's defense.
Fortunately for Philadelphia, it looks like he will be able to play in their upcoming must-win matchups. In the final stretch of their season, the Eagles play division rivals in five of their six games.
