Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is only worried about one game at a time as his team tries to return to the playoffs.
The Eagles came up big last Sunday with a huge 30-23 road victory over the Los Angeles Rams, which allowed Philly to move to 7-7 on the season while staying firmly in the race for an NFC playoff spot.
But you won't find Pederson worrying about the playoffs or things that his team can't control.
That's because he's focused solely on the task at hand, and that's taking the field again on Sunday for a showdown with the Houston Texans.

“We understand. We know where we’re at and what we need to get done,” Pederson said. “It’s no different than last week. It’s a one-game season for us, and it’s a resilient group. Backs were against the wall. They came out and played well the other night and we’re going to need that again this week.”
While the Eagles won't be able to clinch a postseason berth this weekend, they'll obviously need to keep winning to have a shot at defending their Super Bowl crown.
After this week's matchup against the Texans, Pederson's squad will hit the road to take on the Washington Redskins, who are also still in the playoff race after earning a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16.
