Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson feels like his team's “backs are against the wall' following their Monday night win over the Washington Redskins.
The Eagles scored the 28-13 victory behind two touchdown passes from Carson Wentz, which helped Philadelphia move back to .500 at 6-6 on the season.
That gives Pederson's group the advantage over the Redskins in the second spot in the NFC East, while the Dallas Cowboys are still a game in front with a 7-5 record.
But Pederson is ready to see how his team responds during a four-game stretch that'll decide whether the Eagles get a chance to return to the playoffs so that they can defend their Super Bowl crown.

And it will all start with Sunday's showdown in Dallas, which will set up yet another high-stakes game between the long-time rivals.
The Cowboys earned a somewhat surprising win in the matchup in Philadelphia a few weeks ago, with Ezekiel Elliot rushing for 151 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
But with plenty on the line in the Week 14 contest between the teams, Philly fans are certainly hoping that their group finds a way to get revenge at AT&T Stadium.
Should the Eagles go into Dallas and pick up the win, they'll still have more work to do in the final three games of the season.
Those games will feature battles against the Los Angeles Rams and Houston Texans before another matchup with the Redskins in Week 17.
