The NFL world is buzzing as a furry of trades have gone through within minutes of each other. After the Miami Dolphins traded with the San Francisco 49ers, moving back from three to 12, the Dolphins then conducted a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The Eagles move back from the sixth pick to the 12th pick in the draft, however, it appears as though the Philadelphia front office had their eyes originally set on Miami's third pick overall before the 49ers swooped in and took it.
According to Rapoport, the Philadelphia Eagles wanted to move up to the third spot overall to have a chance to take Zach Wilson, the quarterback out of BYU. “Instead, they back out, get an extra first-rounder, and continue to build,” per Ian Rapoport.
Many believed that Jalen Hurts was the quarterback of the future in Philadelphia after the franchises traded Carson Wentz away to the Indianapolis Colts not too long ago. In what the fan base believed the right pick was a pass-catcher with the sixth overall selection, it seems Eagles fans are left in disarray after Friday's deal with the Dolphins for the 12th pick.
It'll be interesting to see if any more teams make a move soon. The NFL Draft takes place at the end of April, so there is plenty of time for trades to come to fruition as each franchise aims to improve their rosters for the 2021 season and beyond.
Based on the recent trades, it's now speculated the first three picks might all be quarterbacks. The Atlanta Falcons hold the fourth pick overall in the draft, so if another franchise feels they should make a move, that's likely their best trade partner.
