Although Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has not been in the NFL very long, it seems the loyal fan base he generated following a stellar college career has carried over to the pros.
Jalen Hurts caught wind of a fan that wears his name and number on a backpack for school. The rookie honored Alexander by doing the same for him, took to Twitter:

The authentic gesture is indicative of Jalen Hurts' genuine approach both on and off the field. Aside from getting taken in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, it has helped him earn the admiration of the next generation of players.
There is no question that Jalen Hurts' arrival has generated some buzz given ho early the Eagles decided to bring him in. Although this has led to plenty of speculation regarding their plans under center with Carson Wentz, the team is now relishing in its newfound depth under center.
After all, Philadelphia is all too familiar with the importance of securing a viable backup since it was quarterback Nick roles that led them to their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history. His departure left a rather notable void to fill considering Wentz's track record with injuries.
