Philadelphia Eagles fans won't be happy about the latest news from Nick Sirianni. The first-year head coach spoke to the media Wednesday about the future of his team. He mentioned the Eagles' wide receivers and revealed his top three in order. According to Sirianni, DeVonta Smith is the obvious top receiver for his team, followed by Quez Watkins and Jalen Reagor.
Eagles writer Jimmy Kempski tweeted the news Wednesday morning.
Nick Sirianni said DeVonta Smith is the No. 1 WR (duh), but he also said that Quez Watkins is the No. 2.
He said they want more production from Jalen Reagor. He said he likes him in the No. 3 spot, complimented his talent.

This is bittersweet news for Eagles fans. Of course, it's great news that DeVonta Smith is going to be a main part of the Eagles' passing game moving forward. However, Sirianni definitely ruffled some feathers (no pun intended) when he brought up a bright future for Reagor in Philadelphia.
Most Eagles fans are done with Reagor after a disappointing regular season and a disastrous playoff outing. His poor special teams performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been largely attributed to the Eagles' loss.
Judging by just these three punt returns, it's pretty obvious why Philadelphia fans are trying to run him out of town.

Unfortunately for the Birds, Reagor's problems weren't only evident in their single playoff game this year. He has had more than his fair share of drops, with negative yardage in two regular season games.
The Eagles are lucky to have a decent amount of cap space, as well as three first round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. If the front office is able to capitalize on these opportunities, they could pick up some more offensive talent for QB1 Jalen Hurts.
