The Philadelphia Eagles could return to the Super Bowl in the 2019-20 season.

According to John Breech of CBS Sports, the Eagles have the seventh easiest strength of schedule in their next campaign.

Though this metric guarantees absolutely nothing, it's still encouraging for a team that essentially spent the entirety of their previous juncture still brushing off the confetti from their title over a year ago.

Across the rest of the NFC East, there are two teams with schedules weaker than that of Philly's. The Washington Redskins have the easiest overall, while the New York Giants follow them tied with five other teams at No. 2. The Dallas Cowboys stand with the division's toughest outlook of games – tied at 18.

It's a long offseason, players will move, but it could be the right time for the Eagles to truly bounce back in the correct fashion.

On a brief side note, the team could potentially be on the verge of striking up a deal for the booming free agent commodity of Le'Veon Bell.

Bell hinted at the possibility of playing in Philadelphia on Saturday via Twitter.

The Eagles were one dropped catch shy of returning for at least another NFC title game in this year's postseason, and were defeated by the New Orleans Saints 20-14 in the Divisional round, after a Nick Foles to Alshon Jeffery miscue. They finished with a 9-7 record and second in the NFC East.

With Carson Wentz likely back at the helm next season at quarterback, the team will look to regain some of the same magic they put on display during their 13-3 season in 2018. Wentz returned to action after the first few games of this year, and recorded 3,074 yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
