Safety Tre Sullivan’s career with the Philadelphia Eagles has ended after just one regular season game, thanks to the combination of a botched play, a roster maneuver by the team, and for putting another man’s family jewels in danger.
Sullivan, who went undrafted last year, was signed by the Eagles last May and was with the team during the training camp and in the preseason, but he simply couldn’t hold on to his job past the kickoff game of the 2018 NFL season. However, he was waived shortly after the Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, 18-12.
It’s bad enough for Sullivan to get cut right after he made his NFL regular season debut, but he’s probably feeling worse than that, knowing that a clip showing him grabbing a Falcons player’s crotch is currently being passed around on social media.

Welp.

In addition to that, Sullivan also made an error in the Atlanta game when he touched the ball during a punt play that gave the ball back to the Falcons.
But the biggest reason why Sullivan is out of a job right now is the activation of Nigel Bradham and Deiondre’ Hall from the suspended list. To accommodate both players in Philly’s 53-man roster, the Eagles had to sacrifice Sullivan’s spot.
Despite the bad break, Tre Sullivan can continue to play ball with the Eagles by signing as a practice player once he clears waivers.
