Brett Favre is scheduled to give the Philadelphia Eagles a pep talk on Saturday, a day before Super Bowl LII. Brett Favre’s appearance in front of the team is an initiative by Eagles head coach Doug Pederson, who thinks that having a one-time Super Bowl champion speak to his team would boost his team’s confidence ahead of the highly anticipated showdown with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Perhaps Blount forgot that Favre’s only Super Bowl win came at the expense of the New England Patriots in 1997, and while that was a completely different team than the one the Eagles are are going to face this Sunday, there might be some helpful insights about their opponents that the three-time NFL MVP could part to Philly.

Then again, Blount played for two seasons with the Patriots, so yeah, the 31-year-old running back probably does not need Favre’s help.
