This is a unique gesture made the Eagles that whipped out a reference to a movie series that came out well over a decade ago. What was more fascinating is that Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz was able to complete a pass to Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz for a first down. It was a play that ended up working in their favor on the field.

With it working on the field, there could be a chance that the Eagles could use the play once again down the road in the season. It is a simple play that just a unique name to confuse the defense, which worked on the Panthers in that sequence. Although Philadelphia had success on that play, they have struggled to find success on the field dropping three out of the last four games played.

It is still quite early in the season with plenty of time to turn things around, but the sense of urgency should begin to pick up with the Eagles.
