Although now officially a former member of the heralded Pittsburgh Steelers, current New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell has apparently elected to take the high road in the end. While encountering a lengthy contract dispute with the Steelers, which ultimately resulted in Bell sitting out for the entire 2018-19 campaign, the Jets newcomer still has nothing but love for his Pittsburgh replacement in fellow running back James Conner.
With former Steelers teammates JuJu Smith-Schuster and Antonio Brown, who was infamously traded from Pittsburgh to the Oakland Raiders earlier in the offseason, at each other's throats on Twitter, the tandem of Bell and Conner continue to be friends despite all of the calamity that has plagued the famed AFC North franchise over the course of the last few seasons.
I usually don’t post private conversations…but this txt just hit me so differently…I love youu to death bro 🖤🙌🏾 @JamesConner_ #AllPositiveVibes pic.twitter.com/Bzwp9g5LO3

Even though the Steelers will surely miss the duo of Brown and Bell on the field going forward, Pittsburgh certainly won't miss the headache that came along with having both players on the team's roster. While Brown was quickly traded after causing some off-the-field trouble in Pittsburgh, Bell's lingering dispute with the team went on for what felt like forever.
However, it was eventually Bell that came out on top not only because of his new deal with the Jets, but because his relationship with Conner, who replaced Bell as the Steelers starting running back in 2018-19, has not been strained so it appears.
The Steelers notably missed out on the postseason in 2018-19 and are now looking for a fresh start. Conner and Smith-Schuster are more than ready to step up into bigger roles.
