The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL and they have caught the attention of Iron Man. Ahead of Pittsburgh's upcoming tilt with the Cincinnati Bengals, Robert Downey Jr. is requesting a 9-0 start for the Steelers from Cameron Heyward.

“Mr. Heyward, Cam. It’s about freaking time buddy,” Downey Jr. said, via Heyward's Instagram account. “And I believe that Iron Head is going to need an Iron hand so this is coming your way brother. Thank you, love you, go Steelers, numero uno for freaking ever. Boom boom.”

Despite the storied history of the Steelers that includes six Super Bowls, Pittsburgh is 8-0 for the first time in their franchise's history. Last Sunday, even though the Steelers nearly lost to a shorthanded Dallas Cowboys team, they were able to squeak out a victory.

Downey, who has become well-known for his role as Iron Man in the Marvel movies, appears to be an avid fan of the Steelers. It's fitting that Downey shouted out Heyward as his father, Craig Heyward, was nicknamed “Iron Head” during his career in the NFL.

As for Cameron, he's continued to show that he's one of the most underrated defensive linemen in the league. The veteran defensive lineman has accounted for 27 tackles, four tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hits, and two sacks for the Steelers.

Heyward has been a huge reason why Pittsburgh's defense has been one of the best groups in the NFL so far. While the Bengals could be labeled as a trap game for the Steelers, Downey is expecting Pittsburgh to pull out another win on Sunday.
