Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown hasn’t been shy about his desire to leave the team, and earlier today he took to Twitter and aired out even more grievances about his apparent displeasure regarding the team.

Taking to the social media platform to answer fan questions, Brown was asked about the conflict between himself and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. According to Brown, there is no conflict, just a lack of mutual respect between the two (via Pro Football Talk).

No conflict just a matter of respect! Mutual respect! He has a owner mentality like he can call out anybody including coaches. Players know but they can’t say anything about it otherwise they meal ticket gone. It’s a dirty game within a game. #truth

The issue seems to stem from Roethlisberger’s past of calling out various players and coaches, which Brown calls an “owner mentality.” According to Brown, other players don’t have that luxury, because they know if they do call anyone out, it will result in severe consequences for them.

This isn’t the first time Roethlisberger has received criticism for his approach to things. Many media and former players alike have wondered why the quarterback chooses to call out teammates in the media, something that is usually considered taboo in an NFL locker room. Of course, Ben is the quarterback, so any consequence or criticism he’ll face internally will likely be minimal, which likely makes things even harder for guys like Brown, who know they don’t have the same type of freedom.

As of now, Brown still has to meet with Steelers president Art Rooney II, but has been publicly adamant about his desire to be traded out of Pittsburgh. With just a month until free agency begins in the NFL, expect to see more updates on Brown's future as the days go by.
