Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert found himself in a bit of hot water after his comments about his team in regards to Ben Roethlisberger, but instead of back peddling from them when talking to Antonio Brown, he confirmed them.
Last week, Colbert told reporters that Roethlisberger had 52 kids under him which meant that the Steelers quarterback could do what he saw fit to lead the team. Brown said when Colbert talked to him one on one, he confirmed that Roethlisberger did have the 52 kids working under him.

Colbert did try to change his comments but the damage seems to already be done, and it's not shocking to Brown that Colbert would try to back peddle on the statements.
“Of course he tried to clarify because, you know, he stated the truth and he's going to backpedal on his words,” Brown told ESPN. “But what grown man is calling another grown man a kid? Fifty-two kids. Like, you don't have no respect for these guys? Like, these are the guys that go to work for you. And that's what I'm telling you guys… that's my issue. You know what I'm saying? It's all about respect.
“… Things (are) not getting better. They're not changing. You know what I mean? He just stated it. There's 52 kids and it's this guy [Roethlisberger]. Bro, it's one team. … So that's what it is, man. Just understanding truths.”
It will be an interesting story to watch unfold this offseason but trying to get a free agent to be a kid under Roethlisberger, is probably not the best approach to have.
