Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is currently going through the most tumultuous time of his career. Last week, Brown got into a heated dispute with Ben Roethlisberger, refused to practice afterward, complained of knee pain, refused to get an MRI, went AWOL and was then benched for his team's season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals.
According to former NFL wide receiver James Jones, Roethlisberger and Brown's relationship has been boiling for quite some time and finally exploded in practice last week:
“I have talked to a couple people in the Pittsburgh Steelers organization and they told me this has been lingering on,” Jones said, per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. “I’ve been told in meetings [Roethlisberger] would take shots at AB. Like, ‘I don’t got to throw you the ball,’ and things like that. Wednesday in practice, I heard he ran the wrong route, Big Ben threw the ball on the ground, said, ‘Get him out of here. Get somebody else in there,’ and that’s when AB was at his boiling point and that’s when he went off.”
While this does paint a slightly different picture, it doesn't explain why Brown also left the team two other times during the year, including during training camp.

“I do think it’s hard to sit down and have a conversation with a man you do not respect or trust,” Jones said.
The more news that comes out, the more it seems like Brown has played his last game as a member of the Steelers.
