There has been a different buzz around the Pittsburgh Steelers this season and Ben Roethlisberger is excited about this season. The last few seasons all the buzz has been about drama and who would and wouldn't be at camp. This off-season there hasn't been many distractions which have given the team time to focus just on football, and Roethlisberger is excited about where the offense is headed.

“I'm excited, I really am excited in what we have,” Roethlisberger told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. “We put a lot of work in, that's what it's going to take, it's going to take a team effort. We're all going to give everything we have and see where it goes. We can't predict the future, but we can predict we're going to give everything we have.”

Gone are Le'veon Bell and Antonio Brown and although their production will be missed the distraction won't be. JuJu Smith-Schuster is the clear cut number one receiver on the team and the team signed Donte Moncrief who has received a lot of praise this off-season. The Steelers also have a few young guys like James Washington and Diontae Johnson who are trying to become playmakers this year.

Roethlisberger has spent the off-season trying to get on the same page as everyone and although it's been a little less hectic than years past, it's for the best.

“It's been a little crazy the last few years, maybe more so than usual that we're used to dealing with,” Roethlisberger said. “To kind of get back to quote unquote normalcy is kind of nice.”
